Hehe, when I went on holiday to spain, my dad knows this guy and I hadn't seen him since I was like 6 or something, don't really remember him, but he though I was 21 lol, I was like O___O how cool

Hmmm, yeah - well I like this girl you see... but the thing is, i'm in year 10, she's in year 7.

Although there's a 3 year age difference in school years, there's only a 2 year age gap, she's 12, nearly 13, im 14, nearly 15.

We both like eachother alot.

Do you reckon it would be considered 'sick', or 'disgusting' to go out with someone who's younger than you?

If we do end up going out, do you reckon you can give me some advice on how to counter the people who start verbally abusing me?

If she's a fairly mature year 7 then it's not so bad really. If she's like still a little girl it would perhaps cause more of something for "people to talk about". But at the end of the day who cares about what other people think, aslong as you are both happy.

And as for the people who may start verbally abusing you, they are probably single themselves so they are hardly the right people to judge you for anything to do with who you go out with.

EDIT2: Funny thing really, she looks older than she does, and guess what... so do I, when she saw me in my display pic she thought I was 20 O_o here's the pic she saw lol... may I remind you all, i'm only 14.

It may be because of the hair and such but you look like you're about 18-20..

Babe, don't worry about it. I've just recently turned 13, my boyfriend is 14 and going on 15 at the end of June. The thing is, we both completely love each other. You can't let what other people say put you down. Yes, things happen, but honestly.. if you like her, go for it. There will probably be issues. I remember my good friend Nicole was always looking out for me, when I started first going out with my guy, I was still 12 and he was 14. I was on MSN talking to him at one point, and I left the room. While I was gone, Nicole started to flame at him, asking him why he's screwing around with a 12 year old, why he couldn't get someone his own age, and what he was trying to do to me.
He was slightly taken aback, and he kind of just blocked me for the time being. I came back and looked at the message history, ****zed out on her, and had to call him back and apologize and beat Nicole up


Look - people will say things, but they'll eventually get over it. Forget other people, anyway.


I may only be 13, and only newly a teenager at that..

but most people don't see me as a child.


And to the guy who said that anyone who looks at a 12 year old could see a child, I seriously beg to differ.

Being realistic, people would probably get the wrong idea...
but if she acts older than year 7 or whatever, then people will probably be understanding. Close friends will stick by you, even if they do tease a bit! lol

Yeh, when you're older then girls always go for older guys, a couple of years would be nothing! Most people's parents have more than that, but its when people are still seen as children when people start raising eye brows...
