So basically the tempreature which fuel burns at at the maximum, is not enough to melt steel. Or even weaken it, letalone create a big smouldering pile of rubble where the bottom was hotter than the reckage which had the fire??
yeah. about that...

there is actually an explanation for that, jet fuel burns at 825° C, although steel will only MELT at 1525° C, it looses half (50%) of its strength at 648 ° C

It severed most of the steel beams and the remaining steel deflected from the heat. The rest of the building is drywall. One storey collapses = all above storeys collapse, all falling onto the floors below causing them to collapse, etc. etc.
