Driving License questions

Hey,

When did you apply for your provisional driving license? How many months can you apply before your 17th birthdate?

Also I am planning to book my theory test for the day I am 17 as I have already read and know all of the driving theory books, I presume that is okay?

I think you can order it two weeks before your 17th as it takes two weeks to arrive. Not completely sure though. I just ordered mine a couple of days after my 17th. Id wait untill i started my lessons before i book my theory if i was you. If your a hopeless driver then youl prob have to work hard at it and the theory runs out after 2 years or summit. Its not sumthing u need to do straight away.

I got my provisional 2 days ago. I turn 17 on 22nd June. My mum sent away for it a month back I think

It isn't rubbish.

Normally, for car drivers, the earliest date your provisional licence can become valid is your 17th birthday, however you can apply for the licence up to three months before your 17th birthday.
