It says you can apply for your license 3 months before your 16th birthday if you're on DLA (Disability living allowance)

It's so confusing, all the details are different where-ever I look

Basically it's 3 months tomoro until i'm seventeen, so if I just send off and ask the start date to say 13/09/2007 than it should be okay than? I'm just not sure as some places say sixteen, some say 2 months before and some say 3 months before seventeen

once u have done it, take advance lessons. You save a fair bit on ur insurance

Its definitly three months before your birthday as i sent off for mine a few days after it was 3 months untill my birthday .

Your provisional will be active at your 16th birthday if your on disibility living alowence, otherwise u can apply 3 months before your 16th birthday like me, that's what i did, and it becomes valid on your 17th birthday.

When I applied you had to be 17. i didn't start driving until i was 18 though hehe.
