i thnk as long as you didnt seriously injure the other cat its fine, and itwas to defend your own cat.

Hiya, Havent posted in awhile but i think you wer wrong in kicking the cat as ther are other ways but agen you mind was probly in a state of panic.
Anywho hopes your cat/kitten is better now.
Next if anything like this happens try cold water
