    Default UserMS v1.0

    As most of you will probably know, i'm creating a new website called eBobba.

    However, i have coded a complete housekeeping management system, and i've figured i should sell it, so i've come around to bringing up the project;

    UserMS V1.0

    UserMS basically is UserManagementSystem, what this package will have is both an administrator and a moderator housekeeping panel, and there will also be included a usersystem that is coded with the two housekeeping panels, so the usersystem can be 100% controlled through the panels, so people with lack of phpmyadmin can sleep easy

    Obviously more versions i will be coding a CMS into, a DJ panel, and make it so UserMS is the only product you'll need regarding website scripts.

    It'll be priced at £5.00 per copy, and i'll be making plenty of versions with much more advanced stuff added to it.

    It will be tested before i release it into BETA stages, through eBobba, watch throughout the projects forum, as i will be posting updates about UserMS.

    they'll be both a paid and an opensource one, the opensource one won't have as advanced features e.g. control the mod panel from the admin panel.

    but will still have very good & useful features.

    It's not an obsession but most people prefer stuff to be free. Especially web developers/designers

    What does that have to do with open soruce-ness? Does anyone here actually have a clue what open soruce actually entails? Since as far as i can tell people ether confuse it with free software, and the availability of the source.

    You can have free software, which the source available that is not open soruce. Open soruce is to do with the rights when distributing software. AKA someone who is not the copyright holder, is able to change, modify and edit the code, then distribute it to other people without the copyright holders permission.
    Open source software doesn't necessarily even have to be free?

    -Gah its really starting to irritate me now, there hardly a thread you can read that doesnt have some one going on about it...
