habbox ban people for idiotic reasons?

The funny thing is, I can't comment on the first post. I would absolutely love to defend myself, but due to our privacy rules, I can't discuss your ban publicly. But you yourself were trying to get unbanned with the excuse "I was stupid". Which, although admitting a mistake is good, just doesn't cut it. I made the decision, and in an effort to be impartial got the opinions of two other administrators since it was my edits you ignored. I make every effort to make sure my bans are objective. What more would you like me to do, put it up to vote? :rolleyes: (That was rhetorical for the one person who is going to say yes).

You can attack me in any way you want, but you have admitted your wrong and I personally have nothing against you. I have banned friends before, and they have understood (Benji and Helen will tell you I've banned them each about 20 times, so I don't let friendship get in the way of being impartial). I'm sorry that you got banned, but I have to be fair to everyone else do I not? Because if I don't ban you for that, then someone else who commits the same offense goes "Well Saurav did it, why can't I!" You yourself said that though the other person was under different circumstances.

Anyway, if you copied and pasted your ban reasons, the reason for your ban would seem much more reasonable to members than the way you painted it.

Me, saurav, tash, craig etc have been here for a long time sinse 2002-03 maybe more, in the last year this place has gone to dust, since dj-3000 etc got fired thats where it went wrong maybe you some look at what it was like then and try bring that back

But it can't be, and part of it is the member base. You yourself have seen that "you no longer like the members here" to quote you, because they're different from when Habbox started. Also, did you get banned or something, cause your user ID is in the 16000s...

We also need older Administrators. Current admins are like 12-13.

If you're going to attack me, please attack me with facts that are both truthful and relevant. My experience is more than most and older administrators would probably be tougher. Also, I am 15 so please at least try to attack my credibility with truthful statements

And because you were reffing to ksoz earlier - how does this deserve a ban (because my email seems to have been ignored):

I go to my sub-forum. Saw a thread was closed with no mod edits. I opened it. nvrspk pm'ed me saying he locked it. I replied with "oh, i didnt see a mod edit so i opened it. close it with a mod edit"
And then i get banned?

Just plain stupid.

You did not say "oh i didnt see a mod edit" you very rudely told me I was incompetent, should read the guide and do my job right, very aware that I had closed it whereas you could have relocked it. Additionally, you were specifically instructed not to recreate a thread like that.

I find it really funny how everybody thinks the admins have no purpose in life but to visit HabboxForum and crack down on every bit of fun possible. What do you think drives the admins? Bringing Habbox to the top. What do you think keeps Super Mods up late at night dealing with spam riots (going back a little bit)? The desire to keep the forum safe. We don't do it just for the love of being sticklers. And contrary to popular belief, admins and super mods don't get paid. Not a cent. At one time we were supposed to, but it never happened. Every last one of it does it for the love of their job. And it really makes me wonder why you guys don't even realize that at all. You aren't happy without something to complain about. When life throws you lemons, make lemonade don't pull a sour face and throw a tantrum running to mommy.

If you want to hate me, go for it, but don't frown on the work of all the dedicated super mods and admins and general management, managers and staff that have brought Habbox to where it is. Because if they hadn't, a lot of you would be different people, some for the better but most for the worst.

Actually there's a lot of fair, good people who can run Management better than than it is run now, because at the moment it's very bad, people being fired and being banned all the time for little things.

So people can use this 'oh and you could do a better job' stuff, but to be honest most people whom complain about Management could do a better job.

Yeh but do those people have the time to be an admin? It seems to me that the habbox admins are doing stuff for habbox (bad or good, its your own oponion) atleast 12 hours a day :/
Personally, i dont have the time nor can i be botherd to make the effort.

Theres people who could make a better forum then this but it would cost real money and would take up all there time and effort. Sad but true.
