Coastal Holiday ideas (+rep)

Each idea, which is sensiable, will be repped for just trying to help.

Basically, I need a coastline which is accessable from Birmingham. Need the coastline to have quiet good facilities, such as good accomidation and I don't want it to be in Wales. The most important thing is that it's a coastline and that the accomidation in the area is very good. Bare in mind that to get to Birmingham, it's already 2/3 hours on the train, so the closer, the better!

Ok, not sure if I read this right but you want a beach near Birmingham? Well Birmingham is pretty landlocked but you always have Brum's Beach there. Which is quiet a joke from what I understand and waste of tax money, just a little bit of sand put in the by the city.

By coastline, I meant by the sea. Traveling isn't a problem, so long as it's not somewhere stupid like the tip of Scotland. Just looking for ideas on where you think is good, around that area.

(Yes, I know Birmingham is landlocked! )

Well there are some great beaches where I live in Australia but I'm guessing your not planning on spending thousands and looking for somewhere in the UK

what are you planning on doing on the coast, paddling in the sea or what lol

what about skegness or blackpool - casinos, theme park, hotels, pubs, you name it
