Right now the plan is to move the Hardys back to singles. Their run as a tag team was only supposed to be a one-time deal; however since they went over so well WWE decided to give them a few more matches. At one point they almost decided not to have them challenge Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch at last night’s Vengeance pay-per-view.

The working idea backstage is to have Matt Hardy get a big singles push on SmackDown as a babyface who loses all the time but stays over. They then want Jeff to develop a prankster type personality backstage which could be used to integrate him into the Jackass angle planned for SummerSlam.

Johnny Knoxville has agreed to appear on SummerSlam as a wrestler. As things stand now, there will only be one match on the card featuring the 'Jackass' crew, not three individuals like some people dreaded. It will likely be a multiple person hardcore match between the 'Jackass' crew and an assortment of WWE wrestlers who aren't doing anything.

Dave Meltzer reports that the working idea has Deuce and Domino facing Sgt. Slaughter and Jimmy Snuka (Deuce's father) at Vengeance.

As previously noted, WWE hall of famer Jesse Ventura had a meeting with WWE on 6/14. Ventura dressed up for the meeting, which may result in a DVD deal. There has also been speculation that "The Body" could return to television as a general manager.

- WWE t-shirts are now being sold at retailers such as J.C. Penny, Kohl's, Mervyn's, Goody's and Target.

- Steve Austin's "The Condemned" will be available on DVD on 9/18.

Dusty Rhodes wants an on air role as ECW commissioner, with the idea of Rhodes feuding with an ECW heel general manager. The chances of doing the angle is said to be 50/50. Rhodes is currently working as a ECW writer with Dave Lagana.

- Randy Orton has been motivated and seems happier since being sent home for trashing a European hotel room.

- The current plan is to push the Hardy Boyz as singles that loses all the time but stays over. There is talk of tweaking Jeff and giving him a prankster character backstage.

- The big push for developmental talent Daniel Rodimer (Dan Rodman) is apparently back on. Stephanie McMahon and John Cena are both high on Rodman, who was seen backstage on the 6/11 Raw.

there was internal talk in the last few weeks of bringing Shelly Martinez back to WWE to be the first female agent and work with the women
