I agree that hair should be tied up when using drills ect. but how does your hair effect your education? The answer is, it doesn't

just dont cut it, they cant really make you cut it if you dont want to
if they suspend you, im pretty sure you could take them to court for restricting your education. even better if you have important exams this year

As long as they tie it back for woodtech etc then i dont see what the problem is.
And aslong as they wernt crawling with nits and icky things and kept it clean.
I think they should ban girls to have icky dirty hair aswell.
