Usually you create an account on that server. So you don't have to have an official account no.

Have to agree with the last bit, I was zooming around on my Nether Ray when I got it for a while. Now, it's 'meh' but still useful for getting to places like Netherstorm quickly without taking the looooong FP from Shattrath.

280% so it's like ''zooooom''. It seems much faster when you're flying near the ground and trees..etc rather than in the air. I even got to meet an image of Illidan, but then he and his cronies turned on me.
