    It isnt really in the right format to be a social website. Dont have stuff about javascript on the website, 99% of people wont even know what it is.

    nice design style for a portfolio but not a social networking website.

    In my opinion it's a pretty nice concept but Its really graphically intense
    and as sygon said not very practical.

    You could say remove some of what I call "gloss" on the buttons and contrast
    the blues , maby baby blue instead of the darker shade .

    As sygon says its impractical and the 2 boxes on the right I dont like the look of either they have like a block gradient, in my opinion it doesnt look right.

    Anyways, it's just a concept design. Not the final layout.

    I reccomend you put it in a format of what an average web user would seem usable and nothing to fancy save that for the profile editing.
