If people ask, tell them truthfully, if you want to EXPRESS YOURSELF WHEN YOU WANT, but don't stand up and be like Hi, I'm gay, when you first meet people, as people above have said people don't say Hi I'm gay/straight, just keep it to yourself apart from good friends, and if people ask.
Exaclty, you dont go flaunting it .If people ask, tell them truthfully, if you want to EXPRESS YOURSELF WHEN YOU WANT, but don't stand up and be like Hi, I'm gay, when you first meet people, as people above have said people don't say Hi I'm gay/straight, just keep it to yourself apart from good friends, and if people ask.
If they ask then tell them, but as your only 13 it seems abit stupid to tell anyone as your still growing.![]()
I've been reading through quite a lot of your posts and threads. I'm getting the impression that you want everyone to know your gay. This is fair enough but introducing your self saying hey i'm gay may not be the best idea. People might start to think that your advertising your Sexuality which is NEVER attractive. It's like them kinda of guys who walk down the street with one hand bent over going " oh my god no one understands me everyone hates me im GAY im scared IM GAY GAY GAY GAY". I hang around Gay Night Clubs are bars enough to know how irratating this is. So my advice is if people ask just be truthfull with them you never know people might just guess if they have a smashing gaydar. Anyway good luck with going to high school and if people don't accept you thats there problem. I'm sure your going to grow up to be a confident outstanding male.
xxxx
i got warned for telling him that i dont like camps. peh. :S -.-'
You just want people to feel sorry tbh.
To be honest, almost everybody on this forum says that when a person of 12-14 claims they're gay, that it's hormones. Yes, people do go through the stage of hormonal changes, but sometimes that isn't the case. Lots of people know they're gay, from a young age - even when they haven't started puberty. So there is no need for people to repeat that "omgz its ur hormonez n itz u hittin yer puberty" It's pointless.
Into your problem, you can be yourself without people knowing you're gay. People don't need to know you're gay. For people who say "oh they're living in the past, they're failing at life." Homophobia hasn't passed, yes - homosexuality was made legalised(?) over 40 years ago now, but people still aren't accepted as they're classed freaks, sicko's and just misfits altogether. A minority of people are accepted, but I'm sure the majority aren't.
Telling people you're gay in your introduction will just attract unneccesary attention. Rumours will be started, looks will be given, and whispers will be made. I can almost confirm that now. Never in my life have I came across a set of people in year 7 having maturity when it comes to this subject. I advise you to keep it to yourself, and to tell just a handful amount of people when you get close to them. You don't want to make your first couple of years in secondary school a regret, right? Exactly.
