Make sure you let her know that you wasnt being erm... God this is hard to put.

Just tell her you have feelings for her, and tell her you want to be more than just friends and then that you love her ... If you really do, love is often confused for lust.
If you don't think you 'love' her then just tell her you want to be more than friends and that you want a relationship with her etc...

And some people throw the word love around... Once again as review dude said.
