This isn't normal is it?

Well yesterday I got my right ear pierced (3rd on the lobe), to match up with my left lobe.


it's SO swollen you wouldn't believe it, i've never, out of the 8 other ear piercings I have had it so swollen before, it's so bad I can only just about fit the butterfly on it.


is this normal?

have you washed it with the stuff they give you to stop it getting infected?

since it's your third they may have done it on/close the the cartilage which can cause some swelling.
but i'd still get it checked out to be safe.

Yeah I thought that it might be pretty close to the cartiledge and that's what caused it.. it's not really gone down any today, I know I didn't catch it on anything... it's pretty much been like this since the second I got it done.
