You know the last bit of the finale episode where Kate and Jack know talking to eachother outside at the airport.
I think its a preview of the coming season, (should be after they get rescued) as hes talking about "Kate, We have to go back".
I guess Jack, Kate and maybe more probably got rescued but had to leave the other people behind. And now jack is convincing Kate to go back to rescue the remaining losties.
Any other guesses?

Lol yeah, there was a huge discussion a few months ago about that. I'm not sure if it's their "definite future", it might just be a possible future if things carry on like they do.
