lol i didnt mean to scare you but its nasty
i tried banana for first time earlier, couldnt finish it, tasted horrible, gonna try grapes instead i think
=) just seems an extreme thing to happen for not eating for 5 days was all seemed bit OTT
grapes are nice
try strawberries too
or if not them, watermelon is good, apples, pears, etc.

Basically I lost weight throught watching what i eat and excersise ( mind you i dont watch what i eat all the time, i let myself have a junk day here and there)
If you didnt eat for 5 days you would probs be out of energy and not be able to do much, this is because your body doenst have any cals or carbs to burn which you would normally burn by moving around, excercise etc.
your body would also begin to store the fat. Meaning if you eat it will store it and make you put on weight.
I would say if you want to lose weight - Eat something like this a day.
Breakfast - Something like cornflakes/barnflakes/toast.
Brunch (if you get hungrey) - A piece of fruit or a low fat snack or packet of low fat crisps.
Lunch- a sandwhich with salad egg or somehting, if not try a slim a soup with some bread.
Snack - Fruit.
Dinner - something filling and what you fancie. like pasta, curry, chicken etc as long as its less than about 600-900 cals
Dessert - a small cake/yougurt/fruit salad
and tell yourself your not going to eat over a certain time. which i am going to start doing.

the reason gest lost so much weight was because the heavier you are, the quicker you lose it and he was a very big bloke who was used to eating lots of food every day.
oh & at nightrose, you won't be losing any weight eating a 900 calorie dinner :|!
