you can't call people 'dumb' for meeting people off the internet.

few problems with your argument:
a) anyone who meets anyone after just seeing a picture is stupid.
b) not everyone on the internet is a paedophile. why does everyone think this?
c) (this is my main problem with people like you). anyone could be like that. you could meet someone at school, they could seem really nice, invite you to their house and there dad could kidnap and rape you or whatever.

basically, if you've seen someone on webcam and all that, why not meet them? you only live once..

People generally have saw the person on webcam before they meet..... They don't just see a picture because that is stupid. Plus people talk on phone etc also.

Hmm.. about 7 people, all at the same time. Can't say it was the most fun experience I've ever had - What is online, should stay online, from my point of view. I'm an extremely different character offline, than online, so now act abnormal online, as to how I usually would. (If that makes any sence.. looking at the time)

I HATE people who say things like that, sorry. No, you can't tell that the person is who they say they are - that is why you take precautions before you meet them. You ask to see them on webcam, you speak to them on the phone, you arrange to meet in a public place and you get to know eachother properly before meeting.
People who do that are those who have learned about internet safety, they are also the people who use the internet for one of it's main purpose - networking and getting to know / meet people. Safety freaks annoy me, as long as you're careful and use common sense the chances of you getting kidnapped, raped or murdered are as slim as any other day (unless you live in South London / Liverpool / Manchester etc in which case it's just as likely as any day soz).
