Close. You're thinking of Exavior. www.exavior.com/cfl was the folder he lets me use on his webspace, but now it's not a habbo site anymore. Now it just has weapons and armors I drew for the game I *used* to work for, an MMORPG called Illutia (don't bother, not worth it). Exie is still THE master alterationist although he's moved on to work for a Flash design company in California; he was also the person who first taught me isometric pixel art, color use, and specular highlights. I don't recall Xavear ever making these kinds of alts but then I don't really recall seeing ANY of his alts before, so I dunno what he's made.
