Some bits are effective, but you really need to work on your designing before you design graphics sites, although I suppose it doesn't really matter because you won't listen to what I have to say (h).

There's potential but there's way too much drop shadow for a dark layout and some bits just don't belong.

A good web developer has an array of style's, not just one that s/he perfects as that would be a bore and it would be monotonous.

It's constructive criticism, if you cannot take criticism then your web developer 'future' is in jeopardy, big time.

I like your 'whit' and 'sarcasm' although even that's 'below par'.

" - - - " means the repeat of the above words [each dash/hyphen representing 1 word] - it saves time so the author does not write it out again, it's called shorthand.
