It's for League 1 and 2 clubs and for a time a couple of years ago, had conference teams in as well.
LDV went bankrupt so lost the sponsorship halfway through the 05/6 campaign. It changed to the Football league Trophy which has always been the general name for it. Now it is the Johnstone's Paint. Nice little bit of history
