VIP Shoutbox?

I couldnt find the VIP features suggestion thread and this seemed the second most appropriate place to post..

I think they are pointless. People will post in the shoutbox more then they would on the forum, and you'll need new moderators for the shoutbox.

Its been dismissed multiple times in the past for the exact same reason ^^

There was one on the forum not so long ago and it completely lagged up the forum lol
Even if it is for vips it will lag the forum loads as people will post often and most members are vip anyway.
Also they use that more making the average post/thread count decrease.

Theres also the big problem of moderating it, if it moves at the same speed as the Spam section on a good night it will be difficult to gain solid evidence for an infraction which leaves it open to abuse.

The whole arguement on the spam forum was about adding a shoutbox instead of the spam section but then something came up and then something else came up and so on.

It was nice, I was on my own though which helped me increase my argueing skills.

You could have Shoutbox moderators :}

But when users spam the shoutbox you'll not get proof easy really.
