THIS IS A LOCAL BASED SWINDON SITE - there luis!

What would you like to see on an online streaming 'radio'?

Current shows we have came up with in 1hr LOL

Debate show - you send in your views and have big debates.
Teens hour - After school show for kids to relax and unwind a bit and send in there stuff if they need help at skl etc.
Saturday night dance - old skool stuff eg. 80's pop.
friday night techno - heavy dance tunes.
breakfast show - pretty much explanitory.
news - swindon news we write a bulletin djs read it out at the start of every hour on the hour possibly weather.
breaking news - any breaking news the dj gets knocked off for a bit then go through it etc.
was going to do something like rush hour tracks but how can you listen to shoutcast in a car :|
Our own little chart show thing but on a monday and only 20 tracks.

Personally, i like the name. Why? You may ask... Because i thought of it.

On your other thread, you said about local bands.

Maybe have a top 20 band list, and each week have a special host from one of the bands maybe.
Also, if you do top 20 bands (local) maybe people could submit lyrics to a song they've wrote (like a competition)

And best one will get used by No1. band out of the 20, the No.1 band would be decided by the public.

After spanish HW i been brainstorming alot

Other ideas: Put radio onto the forum
-Pair up with other local sites around the country (Worst idea)
-X-Factor type competition, winner records voice recording, singing to a
song by the local band, and they make it a say 'cover' version (other crap idea)
-Bands host their own shows like 'Cool dudez @ 11'

I would advise having shows at a wide varity of times

like a set timetable like radio 1 and some shows 3 hours long and some just 30 mins like a news show taht is what we did on radio slaop we got quite a few ppl asking for traffic news because we did update on travel every 15 minutes even though we were a online radio
