i had to reformat this morning.
ive installed fs2004, and i go to load it, and it loads but then it just disappears again :S?
has anyone had this problem.. or knows how to fix it?

I suggest, Reinstalling it again. I know you just done a fresh one but sometimes it might of missed something etc. Try one more time,
