they only offered you 4£ for gears of war?!
:¬:Derp
Why people bother to attempt to trade in their games I don't know. Game shops will ALWAYS rip you off, better off selling on Ebay. I can understand it if was a promotional offer that you've seen but..
Well they never used to they used to be dead good.
The only reason you're getting so little is because the amount of people trading in that item is so high.
I traded GoW in a month after it came out, I got £30, but if you trade it in now, you'll get pennies because so many people have traded it in.
Sadly Gamestation are now owned by 'Game' .. meaning all there good deals are pretty much gone alone with a large percentage of preowned deals...
Idiots.
i bet you it was £28, damn store ***. do any for a kick
GAME haven't changed anything about Gamestation, they only bought it to get rid of the competition and gain more profits
... gain more profits... not the smartest kid are you?
Game remodeled it to shrink the second hand pc and playstation X section of the store and to push the consoles (mainly the 360 and wii)
Tbh i sell my games on play.com (H) or ebay :]
My game station hasn't changed at all, they still do the same offers, they haven't shrunk in the way of PC or PSX, my gamestation has all the pre-owned games it was selling while blockbuster owned it, Gamestation hasn't changed at all, if you have any proof that they've "remodeled" it then post it here by all means, unless you have proof that they're changing how all the game stations in the UK are then I'm gonna stand by what I said, they're gaining more money because more people trade games in at Gamestation than GAME because they get more money, that means more pre-owned games to sell, they sell those pre-owned games for more than they paid, in the long run it's all to gain money, that's what business is about, they're not gonna buy a completely different store just to get rid of second hand sections
