Default The Wii and USB Keyboards

Nintendo sent an update out I think yesterday or the day before allowing people to use USB keyboards now with their Wiis. SO I was wondering, would this keyboard work:

Because I think I may buy that just to see how it works, the touch senstive pad may over-ride the wii remote which would be cool, but I don't know how to find this out. Do you think it is worth e-mailing Nintendo? Or just buy it and if it doesn't, use it on another TV or computer anyway?

Yeah, as long as it's USB it should work. And no, the pad won't over ride the wiimote unfortunately.

The keyboard I was looking at is designed like a notebook/laptop keypad, so it has the touch sensitive pad which is like a mouse.

I always assumed you can't use Wireless keyboards with consoles because sometimes you need to install drivers for them to work, which is why plug and play was always the best to go for
I donno though, could try wireless I guess :S

    It won't work...
Opera hasn't added mouse functionality in the Internet Channel meaning it won't recognize the mouse.

Apparently wireless keyboards work with PS3s, and I don't believe they will know what a driver is either?
