If you are going to be putting an age limit on the applications for the volunteer moderator jobs isn't it very like people will just fake their age like they did on Habbo?

I wouldn't mind being a volunteer mod but I think you should wait like a week after opening to open the apps so people actually figure out how to work the game or else you'll just get hundreds of people who barely know how to navigate around applying.

That isn't true. It is more of a company policy situation as per how old a website sets it's moderator age limit. There is really no real strict laws that state you cannot moderate a website under the age of eighteen. Obviously, there are laws concerning child data protection.

EDIT: Also, as James said about their being a more adult nature in the community, then it probably is true that there is a law regarding moderator's being 18+, where there is an adult audience. I believe it also depends on the actual content of the game.

Having a 16 year old dealing with certain calls for help is just stupid.
