a beer is like a casual drink really just like drinking a alcopop u dont drink it to get drunk but u drink it coz u can. the stronger drinks are the ones where u go to get drunk and make a idoit of ya self or have fun.

dont take that as disrespect its just my opiniaun on it.

EDIT: so many ppl like vodka ive gotta try it see if i like it i aint tryed it yet never had the chance really im not much of a drinker just special ocasions i drink

Yeah I don't get the "casual" drinks. I can sort of get alcopops because they're designed to taste like fruit juices and are ok, but I don't quite get why people enjoy the taste of beer, it's pretty rough lol. Also you're right about spirits being *generally* ones you drink to get drunk - they clearly don't taste all that good so yeah I'll admit that I do drink vodka just to get drunk. @your edit: it's not much of a case of actually liking it, it's just that it's cheap, strong and you look well hard core if people see you downing pure vodka :8 lol nah not the last bit
