I agree with you and understand what you mean. But Pirrom is right also. Money and wealth is a main thing of why this world steals. Also their is no deterent anymore. People get caught. Sentanced to 7 years in prison and leave after 4. They have Sky tv, good meals. Yes its not nice being stuck in prison but it aint bad for someone who possibly has murded someone or raped a little girl. Its sick and no one is too bothered because their is no deterrant. I'll probs get told on here "Wth you talking about you idiot?" but i know what am talking about. But yeh, i totally agree with your post.

Atm i for one am disguisted i have only been on this board for a couple of minutes and i've already been scrutanized and bullied because of my typing.
I have also layed witness to alot of violence.
And when i try to make people see the error of there ways they just do the complete oposite and abuse me some more.

As I've said before, being somewhat anonymous on the internet really gives people that right to be cruel and certain people take advantage of that to the maximum on this forum. Theres no point in trying to make them see the error of their ways, just leave them be and let them realise that they're not cool, but just plain annoying *****.

Sorry to hear about your house being broken into. While me, my dad and my brother went swimming once, someone broke into our locker and stole my dads wallet, keys, etc. He had to get new credit cards, a new lock for the door among other things. It also cost him about £500+ in the end.

I agree with what you said Logo, no one is really all that scared of prison anymore. Many years ago, when you think prison you think of a horrible dark place, but now all you hear about are the luxuries "/ and the fact they're not in there for long.

I understand what you are saying.
Today working the hours 10-5 at selfridges I had to intervein with 3 attempted theifts.
The worst of which was 2 girls that looked about 12 trying to steal a hair brush.
I stould there watching them as they tried passing the brush back and forth trying to get it behind the papers they were carrying but after they noticed me they watching them they realised i was on to them and just payed for the £1.99 hairbrush.

But the day before one of my co workers caught a women trying to stuff a shirt up her coat.
It was blatantly obvious what she was doing as you could see it bulging out.
She went over and said 'Excuse me love what are doing'
And the women just said 'Nothing,I'm not doing anything'
Then she pulled the top out of under her jacket and told the women to leave and never come back.
I thought that was quite couragous of her as my co worker is 82 years old.

My boss however is a good man even though he knows she is getting on abit now and is quite old for the job he hasn't got the heart to fire her and has kept her on.
At christmas time however she can become quite an anoyeus so he has offered to pay her to stay off so that she doesn't get in everyones way.

I realise that story has nothing to do with anything really but i felt like sharing it anyway.

Anyway i guess the point i was trying to make is people would risk prison for a £1.99 hairbrush or a £39.99 shirt :|

Anthropologically everyone likes a bit of power, thats why people steal and commit crimes, it makes them feel strong, Its human nature, its nothing we can stop.
