Have to say I prefer the old design...

Don't like the background, login details are uncentred etc.

I like the background this time around, looks pretty advanced.

And I agree with Ben, the uncenteredness looks bad.

But it's not really yours, is it? Layouts should, well, be designed by you... All you've done is thrown a transparent box above it and filled it with a login form.

Er... Since when was having a copyright notice on a design an excuse to base half of 'your design' on something that wasn't created by you?

I'm not saying that it's not a new design, all I'm saying is that you really did nothing toward it, rather than googling 'login backgrounds' (as evident from your google search bar in the screenshot) and slapping a transparent box over the top.
