Argh it's a real shame that they have not qualified. To be honest they shouldn't play friendlies a few days before the key matches, if they had not done that Owen probably wouldn't have got injured and they may have had a slight advantage with their striking force and the players would be 100% fresh. Personally I don't agree with some of McClaren's decisions recently but I doubt he'll be manager for long in all honestly.
