How far away is your post office and did you buy it or a parent (or someone else)?

I doubt your money would of been taken, but in future it might be easier to buy from Play.com, Amazon.co.uk etc

Why have you already emailed asking? You should just wait, go tomorrow and if that wasn't it THEN email.

I ordered it on Saturday and as the user is no longer registered I emailed to check he'd sent it.

I thought if it was too big then the postman knocked on the door.... at least that's what they do here anyway.

The reason they put a thing through the door was because the package was too big plus no-one was in . What did they expect though really, 11am on a wednesday lol.

Normally you have to wait 24 hours anyway until you can go to the post office to collect it, so it can be sorted out and stuff. Who evers name is on the Royal mail card needs to go with ID, or take some ID of the person. That how it's works round ere anyway

Need ID round ere for special deliverys if you go in and get it.

Oversized parcels are just given out to anyone cos they don't rly care.

Considering the hassle you're having at the moment, I would say Play.com etc would of been a better option. How much was it on eBay?

rung the bloke being investigated for fraud lol so got a refund and bought another one.
