    Default klaxons last night :)

    this was an amazing gig i personally thought. details;

    fist fite
    were good for one song. they then proceeded to sound the same throughout the whole set. you couldn't understand a word of what the lead singer said, and it basically sounded crap. she also looks like beth ditto, and jiggles about like beth ditto when she dances.

    simian mobile disco
    i was a little apprehensive about this band. id only hear some songs, and i liked what i heard, but i didnt think id enjoy them live.
    they took ages setting up, i cannot see why, but im sure theres a good reason. it was well worth the wait.
    instead of just playing loads of their songs, they played one continous song for about 40 minutes, which was so brilliant. they paused for about 3 seconds once or twice, but apart from that it was continous rave music. i loved it. the lightings around them were also amazing, ill upload the video i took onto youtube at some point.

    klaxons
    klaxons were amazing. they started with that bouncer song, which im not to fond of, but when straight into atlantis to interzone, which was so good. it was great hearing everybody singing the words, even all the 'ohhhs' and 'ahhhs' and the like.
    the best song they played, i thought anyway, was either golden skans, which they lovingly dedicated to us , magick or it's not over yet, which was ironically played after they announced they'll be back next year.
    we were just leaving, when they came back on for an encore, which was 4 hoursemen of 2012. which was brilliant. i loved every single second of them, and i cant wait for their new album next year.

    i also got free oxfam badges and signed a petition, im well proud of myself
