I wouldn't recommend buying it if you don't like playing long campaigns

Bioshock was an amazing game but I wouldn't say GoTY

Call of Duty 4 deserves that title, no other game this year beats COD4 in my opinion.

In Xbox 360 Magazine they said Bioshock and Halo 3 wouldn't be counted because they were released just after judging began. So... yeah.

I dont see why, it isnt revolutionary in anyway and much of the campaign was 'more of the same' anyway, I bought it on PC and was less than impressed.

Bioshock deserved to win, it was an excellent game and no other game I've played this year is anywhere near as good.

Well deserved in my opinion, Bioshock is one of the best games i've ever played. Call of Duty 4 is great, but the campaign is short and abit weak, although the fantastic multiplayer makes up for that.

I'm surprised it wasnt criticized for lack of online and multiplayer, but it's a decent game. I feel COD4 and SMG are both better though.
    Seriously.

It got it because the Gaming BAFTAs were in October, CoD4 might get it next year
