So you get spoiled all year round and you still want a better present?Well this year I was informed I was getting £75 which I think has gone down dramatically so I'm going to have put together everyone's money to be able to afford the Xbox 360 I want...
I don't see why it's gone down, my Dad now gets paid a little more at a better company, and my Mum got a promotion to manager?
I do get spoilt with designer clothes by my mum, but frankly I'd rather I got a better Christmas present.
Anyway, £100-200 usually.

£100-£150.
I think anything above £200 is too much.

goodbye.
last year my dad gave me £100 and my mum bought me a laptop. so it varies every year i guess.
but i think its stupid how kids use christmas as an excuse to rince their parents dry. its a known fact that too many people spend too much money at christmas that is needed, hence why the news is always going on about how families are in debt after christmas. im grateful for whatever my parents give me, as im like that. if i was given
£10 and whatever, ill be grateful as throughout the whole year, im giving what i need and want to some extent. the original meaning of christmas now-a-days has just totally gone out of the picture, and its just about getting presents :/
before anyone calls me spoilt, the reason i get alot of money spent on me is because during the year, most of the things bought for me, and bought by myself, with the money i earn.
so yeah, they like to treat me i suppose
my parents dont go into debt, lol.Originally Posted by dirrty

and im grateful about everything my parents do for me, and buy for me.
and also, i agree about the last bit..it's all about presents tbh.
it's suppose to be about the birth of jesus, and a day with your family.
I used to get £500 then other stuff too...
But my little brother is here this year so obviously finances a re a bit tighter so my mum & dad said they can spend £300 on a main present for me then like extras and stuff as well...
I told them no and I feel really bad taken their money but they insist as their proud of me doing well in my exams lol.
Ostinato...

100-150.
jeees some peoplegetting 1000!id be happy with 200 if i was allowed that much.
100 - 150 is riht for me because i dont really want that much as i et older..
it wasnt aimed at you btw, just a generalisation rly. yh, i just dont like how some people virtually demand certain things for christmas when the true meaning of christmas is totally irrelivant to their actions.before anyone calls me spoilt, the reason i get alot of money spent on me is because during the year, most of the things bought for me, and bought by myself, with the money i earn.
