If you went on the forum you would see I have signed up but because you didn't read the first post you didn't know there was a forum. TBH who cares if it is a free layout/forum I think it looks really nice so it doesnt matter if its free.
The point is not so people can show off how much money they spent on a site, its just a way of people to chat its a forum... Not a Willy waving competition... (I like that term )
