also, flashing lights only works with temporary lights as they don't have sensors or whatever built in.

I assume the button they're talking about is the normal button you press to bring up a waiting sign and to say you want to cross.

I think this is made up, traffic light switches are mostly older than this type of technology and by the time you've finished it would have changed andway lol.
