    Default Changing Recipes

    I got a very nice recipe book for Christmas with lots of different recipes, obviously. Now my question is;

    If you have a fantastic recipe from a book or wherever (example - Gordan Ramsay's http://www.channel4.com/food/recipes...ecipe_p_1.html)

    If you want to adapt the recipe to "make it your own" when can you tell what to take out, and what to add as a replacement.

    Not using that recipe, lets go for a simple one.

    Burger

    Cook burger, put it in a bun, what next!?

    Simplified question is: How do you know what to add?

    Basically you just have to keep trying till you get it right, Think of what could you add? Say if it was a burger you could be creative. Just consider what flavours go well together and theres always a bin if you go wrong

    Ya i thought that, its just, i dont know what would go well together, thats my problem. I love food and way stuff tastes. but i never know what to add.

    For instance, i was frying mushrooms and i added white wine (try it its lovely) then i added onions then gravy powder ontop, t doesnt look the best but if you do it as i did, it tastes nice.

    But the problem is, since then i havent got the feeling i got when i added that. he feeling was that i could create anything. See what im saying?

    Well just sorta try different things for example.

    A nice ham sandwich. And a Cheese Sandwich. and then you just decided what go well together. its just how it is you just have to be experimental, expect to make mistakes but you'll get it right eventually.

    Ya i guess. Im going to do a curry soon. Meh ill see how that goes and post my progress. I wont change it though as it looks delicious. but, the soups in the recipe book are just asking to be changed.

    You can have a green block which simplifies rep aswell
