pfft, the Mayans lived in caves and weren't technically advanced at all. They didn't even have school, what suddenly gives them the brain to see into the future and predict something as big as this.

For it to be a hoax would imply that it was at one time a reality. Most scholars agree the ending of the Mayan calender on the winter solstice (Dec 21) 2012 is not to be considered a negative thing, it just signafies change. It is our paranoid quest for drama and to make everything about us that has driven people to just assume the world is going to end. Never get your information from people who haven't even bothered to research what they are talking about."
