RewriteRule Help

Well i keep getting an Internal Error with this Rewrite.

Im using:

RewriteRule ^test/([^\/]+)/?$ /test/showuser.php?user=$1 [L]

So when I go to /test/jack I get an internal error, also I get an internal error when I go to /test/showuser.php?user=jack

Any one know why?

Rewrite was allready turned on.
The problem was the rest of the files were in the test folder.
I moved all the files into another folder and works now
