    xammp, unless you use vista then you HAVE to use wamp for some reason

    (phpmyadmin is really easy to install tbh)

    I have Vista and have xammp, and it doesn't run under XP. Works perfectly fine for me, what problems are you getting?

    I just use WAMP, primarly out of lazyness of installing. After all the stuffs instaleld i never really use its control panel again, since editing configs manually / thru command line is just as easy really

    xamp does work on vista...

    But you have to run it as administrator
    Coming and going...
    Highers are getting the better of me
