    Pretend you're DJing.

You could ask your mates for fake requests to fill the time - it's just a test of how you sound on the radio.

Well possibly the most important thing is to be yourself. The management who go through applications like to see a DJ who can express themself while not trying to sound like someone else.

I would recommend you to tune into Habboxlive and listen to a few different radio presenters on how they compile the shows they do. Starting off with a introduction of yourself, the line up to be expected on your show ahead and then informing the listeners of a party room or competition taking place are all things you should consider including in your 30 second application. Then to finish the clip off why not link to the next song coming up.

Hope this has helped and best of luck with your application.

Don't bother giving me + or - rep as I simply don't give a dam...?

Have points, so you don't get lost in your application clip. Also you may as Finkly said lol to listen to some of the Habbox Live DJs and get an idea of things you can say . But I think UK apps have closed now till Feb

You don't have to pretend you're DJing, most people do however. In the clip for me personally I look for someone who has a warm personality, who is good to listen to and most of all who sounds natural. It's not always good to plan, some people just talk about themselves for a minute .

When ever I had to make a clip I always just pretended I was DJing.

    Introduce a song
    Read out a request
Make a comment on the request

And walla! If you have a good enough voice, they will let you in

    NEVER:

Write a script because, unless you're a bloody good actor it will just sound like you reading from a peice of paper which sounds wierd.

I think that the best way to do a voice clip is to just be yourself, get a vague idea of what you want to say in it and just sound like your really enjoying yourself, Not in an extactic way but you know
Once your done make sure you listen through to make sure you like the sound of it!!
lets have some fun this beat is sick,
i wanna take a ride on your disco stick.
