Yeh but im oviously not going to be able to drive ether of my parents cars as they are both pretty expensive and powerfull, Slk and a Accord both automatic so even on provisional i can't drive them

Yes, but then you can only drive an automatic legally
Whereas if you learn in a manual you can drive both (and vans and tractors) whey
