Basically it shows what happened one year later and the world's pretty much back to normal before kira appeared but some people think kira's taking a rest. It just shows the police people and then they're at the HQ or w/e and the 'L' letter appears on a screen and says "It's L. Looks like everybody's here. Well then, I'd like to tell you the details of this case" then it's the hooded people scene

The translation may not be the exact same but it gets the job. Is L Lawelit still alive in this one?

The first release is entitled Death Note: How to Read 13. A supplement to the twelve-volume core series, How to Read reveals various mysteries from the original books, helping flesh out details such as L's real name. Character biographies, storyline summaries, interviews and production notes are just some of the features that are included in the book. It is scheduled for release on February 19, 2008.

The second book is a novel, called Death Note: Another Note, written by Ishin Nishio. L's rise to power will be detailed as he solves the Los Angeles BB Murder Case. Naomi Misora, best known as FBI Agent Ray Penber's fiancee, will co-star. This title is slated for release next February as well, and is a single volume.
