I think Berbatov will only go to Chelsea if they offered better pay than Manchester. Manchester will make a great signing if he goes there. I still dont like Chelsea.... i think they buy threats. They buy players like Anelka because he can score, and win games for bolton. They never buy players because they want to, or was that just Mourinho. They shouldnt be allowed to spend so much money. Wasn't it £30m for Sean Wright-Phillips? He wasnt even worth £5.5m

People keep blurting on about Berbatov being a good player, he's only good against rubbish clubs. You want a striker who can consistantly score against the bigger clubs (the top 4 namely) and I think Anelka does that regularly.

But you're all right, he won't get into the squad once Drogba returns, unless he plays in Joe Cole's position like he can do.. not likely.

No, what i meant was that they ONLY buy them so that other clubs dont have a good player. They do it as thats the only way they can win. Its opinions and this one is hard to explain. Spesh when half of the users on here are sarcastic and arrogant.

I'd agree with you if it was anyway. I get your point and agree to an extent - it's not the only reason they buy players but in some cases that is why they're paid so much for people. Still, it's tactical so fair play to them
