METHOD: Getting Level 66 Summoning

If you have started summoning, you will know you need spirit shards. These cost 50 each, which doesn't sound much, but you don't get much exp for each shard you use. You'll find that you use up thousands of coins in the blink of an eye.

Here is a method which is suitable for most people to use, and tries to be reasonable and cost effective. After level 66 there are many different paths you can take, but this seems to be the best way of getting to 66. Some of the items you may not be able to buy, and you'll have to collect them yourself, but hopefully the quantities aren't too unmanageable.

Get level 4 from the quest
Get level 10 from dreadfowl pouches (95 pouches needed)
Get level 16 from spirit spider pouches (127 pouches needed)
Get level 23 from granite crab pouches (165 pouches needed)
Get level 25 from albino rat pouches (8 pouches needed)
Get level 40 from spirit kalphite pouches (134 pouches needed)
Get level 52 from bull ant pouches (1,638 pouches needed)
Get level 66 from spirit terrorbird pouches (5,448 pouches)

There is far more variation here. As the amount of experience required begins to rise faster and faster costs will spiral, so at this point you might want to opt for a slower, but cheaper method. Alternatively if you have plenty of money you might want to try and level faster and use up some money. I'll provide some stats for the various options you have. The next post will contain a couple of suggestions for what to do.

Level required: 66
Cost per experience: 5.7gp
Gold charm required
(Bear in mind you can't buy the toads)

• Mithril Minotaurs
Level required: 66
Cost per experience: 15gp
Blue charm required

• Adamant Minotaurs
Level required: 76
Cost per experience: 14.2gp
Blue charm required

• Runite Minotaurs
Level required: 86
Cost per experience: 18.5
Blue charm required

• War Tortoises
Level required: 67
Cost per experience: 14.2
Gold charm required
(Bear in mind it would be hard to buy shells though)

• Arctic Bears
Level required: 71
Cost per experience: 8gp
Gold charm required


How to get pets !!!

I was going to train it when the buzz of it all died down, but I didn't realise how much it was going to be until my brother was doing it and I saw. I doubt it'd train it or train it high tbh. Seems a bit like a pointless skill.
