so by learning through the fire and flames, you are in fact learning the whole of the album it is on. it all sounds exactly the same.
but yeh, good luck. i can only just play it on medium on guitar hero.

Thanks a lot for all the support lol, I haven't had a chance to learn much more this evening as I have been doing a play rehearsal (I am a VERY promiscuous girl, But as the cast is all male I will have to shave my legs ) lol So I will start learning the hard bits tomorrow... And Redneck I agree it is an awesome feeling when you nail a really good song at full speed for the first time

I love this song, my friend Bob (yes that really is his name, although it does sound like one of those sarcastic moments...) is trying to compose an acoustic version of the song. It's quite possible that he will do it as he is a rythmic guitar player, so he can do loads of different sounds with the guitar as he's playing. Which should allow him to play all the weird sounds that apper in the song

However, Guitar Hero is a different kettle of fish altogether. I can crack it on Medium but then Hard comes along and I can't keep up. My friend can almost do it when we are playing online game, even though he lives next door

Not wishing to be rude about bob... but I highly doubt he will be able to recreate Through the Fire and Flames effectively, if you watch the video you will see that it is highly dependent on the set-up of an electric guitar. You can't even recreate the sound on a medium price guitar. As I have found out from trying to learn it. Herman Lee and Sam Totman both have VERY specialized guitars.
