or something similar to bypass it, which is leaving the problem unsolved.

Yes thats very true, which is why there is not real point in increasing it. But then again, theres a way around nearly everything on the internet .

As I said before - as moderators, we only edit spam/pointless posts, we do not give warnings. It's not an issue that involves the infraction system.

Well Hollywood thinks they get warned or whatever, I was just posting what would happen (they get the post edited or whatever)... that's why I said warned but they don't get warned so I don't know why Hollywood said they do. :S

The mod will still edit/warn the user in both cases so is there really a point in upping the character limit?

I meant warned as in mod edit not warning/infraction side of things.
