It's true though, under UK laws (soon to be EU I believe).

It's a bit stupid in my opinion - I don't think that the following would happen:
Person 1: "I made this shirt"
Person 2: "No you didn't - I did!"
Person 1: "Yes I did - I've got proof too"
Person 2: "No you don't - I made it before you"
Person 1: "Right I'm going to take you to court"
