No its a massive awareness thing to help the poverty in Africa, people had to answer a question and text it in to have a chance of getting a ticket, a few thousand were chosen at random and they got free tickets.
The tickets did not cost anything, and yes the rumours are true that there selling on Ebay for over £500,000
